  - Adventure is everywhere and you don’t have to be an expert anything to enjoy it. On Location takes you to all sorts of fun and challenging experiences, all so you can get up, get out, and Plant Your Flag.
  - Join experienced outdoorsman Sterling Fiock and his trusted Scottish Terrier sidekick Dogmatix on TV each week. Their mission is to find adventure and excitement (and snacks) wherever they can.

  - At Spectrum Sunstone Mines, the mine operators scoop out the gravel, run it through a shaker and drop the big stuff on a conveyor belt. All you have to do is stand there and pick them up.

- Heritage Gardening

  - Surfing off the Oregon coast is totally a situation where you need the right gear. With an average water temperature in the low 50’s, a good wet suit is top of the list. Good thing you can rent both wet suits and boards at the Lincoln City Surf Shop. Then, like Sterling, all you need is a sense of adventure.
  - Can confirm: if you’ve never been cold water surfing before you will no doubt end the day with aches in muscles you didn’t know you had. But balance that against an adventure well done and you’re still a winner.

  - The Pacific Northwest has some great biking trails that parallel what’s available for motorized vehicles but on a more human scale. Many of them happen to be located within the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest.

On Location canine sidekick Dogmatix celebrates his 8th birthday!

Dogmatix, the famous Scottish Terrier sidekick on the outdoor adventure show On Location, turned 8 years old on December 26th, 2019!

To celebrate the day he and the show's host, Sterling Fiock, traveled to the Oregon Coast to enjoy some hiking trails and run around in circles on the sand. Successfully visiting the coast with your furkid can take some planning, and below we offer some safety tips (originally published by our friends over at Animal Planet) to take into consideration.
