Destination America goes “On Location” with Road’s End Films

Discovery-owned Destination America ventures into some of the most epic Pacific Northwest locations for a new outdoor adventure docu-series.

On Location follows charismatic host Sterling Fiock and his Scottish Terrier sidekick Dogmatix as they are thrust into diverse and often challenging exploits against striking Pacific Northwest locales.

During each episode, wilderness expert Fiock (pictured left) and his canine co-host Dogmatix (pictured right) journey across Oregon to engage in outdoor activities of growing intensity; joined by subject matter experts that help guide the experiences and demonstrate the infrastructure. With an emphasis on “shenanigans plus safety”, the pair invite the audience to join them as they share adventures, tell stories, eat snacks and have fun.

On Location is produced by Road’s End Films for Destination America. For Road’s End Films, Carey Fiock and Sterling Fiock serve as EPs. For Destination America, the EP is Andrew Crawford and Henry Schleiff is group president of Travel Channel, Investigation Discovery, Destination America and American Heroes Channel.

“On Location is all about exploring a world beyond the couch relevant to outdoor enthusiasts both amateur and experienced,” said Road’s End Films in a statement. “Sterling presents viewers with a variety of adventures ranging from accessible to extreme, while imparting valuable knowledge and insight into the infrastructure that makes it all possible.”

“Destination America is excited to partner with Road’s End Films for exclusive airing rights of On Location, an adventurous docu-series that follows Professional outdoorsman, Sterling, as he takes viewers on a journey through the Pacific Northwest,” said Crawford in a statement.

The series will debut exclusively on Destination America in early 2020.
